As the largest senior football club in Western Australia, Curtin University Wesley Football Club is a beacon of excellence and community in the Perth Football League (PFL) — Perth’s premier amateur football competition. The PFL represents the highest level of amateur football in both the Perth metropolitan area and across the state, sitting just below the professional ranks of the WAFL.
Based at Curtin University’s South Oval, Curtin Wesley Football Club has access to a comprehensive set of facilitiesthat support all aspects of club life — from training and game-day preparation to social engagement and community-focused events.
As the largest senior football club in Western Australia, Curtin Wesley is experiencing its most successful era. Since 2019, we’ve made 29 grand final appearances, claiming 19 premierships across our teams. Even more impressively, 80% of our sides have qualified for finals each year, reflecting our consistency and strength across the board.
Our success is built on exceptional leadership. Nick Suban, former Fremantle Dockers player, leads our A-Grade Men’s side with professionalism and passion, while Earl Spalding, a highly respected figure in WA football, oversees our coaching program as Director of Coaching. Together, they bring elite-level insight and development to all levels of the club.
They’re supported by a committed and professional committee, ensuring smooth operations and a positive environment for every member of the club.
We’re proud of the high standards of care and professionalism we bring to our football program — including on-field physiotherapy support and subsidised player treatments during the season to keep our players in peak condition.
Our strong network of sponsors, past players, and supporters continues to play a vital role in our growth. Their involvement enriches the club’s culture, finances, and sense of community.
Importantly, we are a club that welcomes everyone. We proudly field ten teams, including A-Grade Men’s and Women’s teams, two Colts (U21s) teams, and an Integrated All-Abilities team — creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds and skill levels to be part of something special.
